How Job Breakdown handles sign-in and saved searches.
Google sign-in
Signing in shares your Google account ID, name and verified email address with Job Breakdown. These identify your session and show which account is signed in. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts or calendars. Your Google password stays with Google.
Session cookies
A secure, HTTP-only cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. A separate temporary cookie protects the Google sign-in flow for ten minutes. Signing out revokes your current session. Authentication records are stored in our private application datastore; provider access and refresh tokens are not retained.
Saved searches
Saved views use this browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded to your account or synced across devices. Clearing site data removes them. Searches are kept in URL fragments; sharing a filtered link shares those filters.
Public research and providers
You can browse company research without signing in. Fly.io hosts the site, Google handles sign-in and serves fonts, and our application uses AllSource for authentication records. Job and careers links open their source websites, whose privacy practices apply there. Server access logs omit query strings.
Contact and deletion
For questions about personal data or to request removal of authentication records, contact decebal1988@gmail.com. Signing out stops the current session; it does not itself erase historical authentication records.
